If you've never seen it, check it out. The story has so many plot holes you start laughing, but the premise of how everything happens for a reason is pretty cool :)

Yeah, one of the more disappointing movies for Shyamalan. The commercials were fantastic... the beginning was fantastic... then it just got silly.

What a terrible movie, I wasted my money to see it in the theatre.

What's so neat about the movie is it is full of character development that seems to go nowhere. In fact, the movie doesn't even reveal what it's actually about until 1/2 through. Then, suddenly in the last 10 minutes of the movie, everything suddenly ties together perfectly.

If they would have got from point A to point B more logically, it would have been an excellent movie. They screwed up on the details though and ruined it :(

This isn't a good "bad" movie. A good "bad" movie is something like American Ninja, Missing in Action, Santa's Slay. Garbage like that.

Signs was a compelling movie except for the ending. The writers probably got lazy or something. Might as well make the ending Mel Gibson waking up in bed realizing it was all just a dream.

I thought the ending was the most compelling part.

I don't like mel gibson, because he's an asshole, and I didn't like his character, because he was a naive, hypocritical prude.

Nonetheless I thought the film worked - not as all out science fiction, but as a narrative of a man whose faith is tested (and then proven).
