Not as good of a deal as Spaceballs but it is the cheapest I could find right now.

Go to Bestbuy.com and add item to cart. It will change from 19.99 to 14.99 for some reason.
Vista Series.

Why would hostile aliens with space-faring technology go roaming
around enemy territory stark naked and unarmed?

No idea... I didn't like the movie much neither... Unbreakable wasn't that great neither...
the only good movie by M. Night Shyamalan was The Sixth Sense...
of course, that's just my opinion... varies by the person ;)

The movie is not about the aliens. If you don't have the patience for this movie, you should go catch the latest Star Trek flick.

Signs is a great movie.

I havn't seen it yet, but I won't base it on parts of it being unrealistic. If I did that there would be very few movies I would watch. I just watched xxx and liked it, but does any one think the action scenes were realistic? Any cop show movie where people run out from behind something to just get shot is not realistic. Is alison Eastwood's acting realistic? Her dad getting her movies is more realistic, lol.

Signs is a great movie.

It has nothing to do with patience. It was a painfully unbelievable melodramatic flick. There's no way I'd spend money on it.

Well since everyone has joined in slamming the movie I figured I would have to give the opinion of someone who enjoyed the film. If you go into it looking for a plot twist like The Sixth Sense you will definitely not like it. Even I admit that the payoff of water being toxic to the aliens isnt that great. But the movie has much more to do with the characters than the plot. It also doesn't a great job of building up anticipation and dread of whats going to happen next. Well thats just my opinion. I agree with eugovector if you don't have the patience for it I suggest buying xXx (my vote for worst movie I saw in the theatres, 2002) instead.

Just gotta throw my 2c in, too. I really did enjoy seeing the movie. It helped that I saw it in an empty theater w/ my wife, which made it that much more intense. Good flick, and the main reason I'm gonna buy it on DVD is cuz I have $12 left on a Borders gift card and a 10% off coupon to boot :)

I'd also like to join the side of those that thoroughly enjoyed this movie. But that feeling comes mainly because the first time I saw this movie was a workprint version that had about 20 minutes of extra footage that made it to the cutting room floor for the final version. The workprint also had hardly any music and some of the sound effects weren't edited in post either which added imensly to the eeriness. The reason I bring this up is because the DVD will probly have all the deleted stuff that made the movie about 10 times better in its full length. Also based on the quality of the bonus features in Shamalan's others, this is surely a dvd worth 10-15$ imo. Just my 2 cents for someone that hasn't seen the movie.
