Sorry for this kind of question, but I guess I want to make a personal site due to some nice hosting I got with 1and1 for 3 years. Well, I don't mind spending some money to get a .com or .ca domain but I'm not sure what all these terms are - domain transferring, balances, registrars, ...
Do you think you could be kind enough to help me out? All I want to know is where I can get an actual .com name (not the ones with frames that just load your site), one that when I right click the page and click properties will actually say "xxxxx-xxxxx.com" instead of s0239423.onlinehome.us like the 1and1 domain.
Where can I get this done cheapest and best? And anyone know the term for this? Thanks!
