Why did I promise myself that I'd leave that in there until someone figured it out?

How about you clean up your signature so it isn't half a page long. 11 lines is ridiculous. Trim it newbie.
Remember this?
Think of it as like your sig, only in hex and so *you* can't read it.Originally posted by: LoKe

Font color codes?
I assume the answer is the first letter of each color? 😵

I think mine is a bit on the long side, but compared to most it's fairly short.

I apologize if my 3 lines of sig bother you. If you are reading this post at 1280x1024 on a 17" or larger LCD my sig only takes 3 lines because I wrap my specs (instead of using 1 line for each component). Still, if having my entire rig in my sig annoys you, I apologize for that. At the same time I think you will recover with no permanent damage to your psyche.
Personally, I find it a little annoying having to be "signed-in" in order to view a member's rigs. I want to be able to see the rig specs without having to sign-in or open another page. When someone posts an answer or a question on a PC hardware forum people usually like to know what kind of hardware that individual is running so they can compare systems and get a feel:
(1) If the poster has a system that is comparable enough in performance, specs, or configuration that whatever they are saying is actually relevant to the thread;
(2) How a member's rig might performance in comparision to their rig or someone elses;
(3) To see if the posting members has a clue as to WTF they are talking about. I see lots of posts where someone is running a Barton and a 9500 Series cards and they are talking about how well their rig compares to someone with a Venice or San Diego running a 6800GT, 6800 Ultra, X800 XT PE, ect. Obviously, this member may have multiple rigs, but by reading between the lines in a post its typically obvious that the member doesn't know sh1t from shinola.

Your sig is 5 lines, and I don't think Sunner necessarily meant yours. He meant the signs with 1 component per line, as you probably knew but took offence anyhow. :roll:

Can't say I mind your sig, it's three lines on my 21", so no problem there.

That's a great idea! Thanks!
n0cmonkey, I did not take offense. Why would you think that, just because I replied to Sunner's post? There is nothing in my post that should even remotely be inferred by a reader as to suggest that I am or was offended. My post was polite and professional in it's entirety.Originally posted by: n0cmonkey

I just said what I said because some members' do find a full system spec sig annoying. I didn't think you did, but some do...
