not really a "hot deal" most broadband subscribers use the isp of the provider. verizon dsl users usually use verizon as isp, etc.

GetConnected is a marketing company, not an ISP. They run the broadband ordering kiosks at Best Buy. I ordered cable modem service from ATTBI through this kiosk and the rebate form went to GetConnected. I got the rebate check within 4 weeks. As always, YMMV.

... which is a wrapper for dell.getconnected.com. In other words: RossMAN found us a better deal through
the same company. :D

Unfortunately, even though I know both cable broadband and DSL are available at my new house, it tells me
only expensive/slow DirectWay satellite is available. I guess my cable & telco don't pay commissions.

Try going to BestBuy B&M to do it. When I checked availability thru Dell's website, I also only got the expensive DirectWay DSL. But when I signed up at BB B&M, the computer showed the $34.95/mo SBC Yahoo standard plus package. Rebate is for $75 BB gift card. It goes through the same getconnected.com
