Sign of a motherboard failing?

At first thought, I suspected it was the battery, which I promptly replaced with an new one.
But as soon as I shut it off and turn it back on, the time/date seems to be suspended to what it was when I last used it. The board is an old trusty ECS K75A that I've had for years.

Perhaps it is time to upgrade anyways.

Another solution...leave computer on 24/7...problem fixed 😀

I did...still same problem. Even checked the charge on the new battery too.
