ok... so i got this card to watch dvd's on my tv.
i have an athlon 1.4ghz to i don't exactly need the hardware.
i just use powerdvd.

but i wanted to see how it works.
so i got the latest software and drivers for winxp.

installed it.. and everythign seems to work.

so i lunched the dvd station (or whatever it's called) and it starts playing the movie fullscreen on my pc monitor.
fullscreen at 60hz.
i can't get the controls or anything. the only way to go back is to exit the program by clicking "alt + f4"
so the card can't play in a window? i mean it uses overlay to display the dvd i am assuming in a window mode? maybe i am wrong.
second if it only play fullscreen how the hell do you get to change at what resolution it playes the movie at? or at what refresh rate?
and how do you brign up the controls in general during play back?

then i switched it to output the movie on a tv. the quality was decent but the alignment was totally wrong.
it stretched the movie to fit the entire tv screen, but the movie i think was in a 16x9 format.
there are no options to resize it or anything?

whats going on here..
i thought this card was suppose to be pretty good?

any help plz?

Make sure your driver/app is reasonably up to date (updates at Sigma Designs). The program should bring up the controls when you move the mouse pointer to the bottom of screen in full screen mode (controls slide up from the bottom). You can toggle window/full mode by double clicking anywhere on the display screen. Make sure in setting option, your selected TV standard is the correct one for your particular format (NTSC, PAL, etc.).
