Apparently I had zero common sense and added moronic commentaries and had more booby shots than filming my graduating friend.
Ha, you sound like a good guy, no kidding. I'll be your friend, even if your stuck up old friend doesn't want you 😉

Hahaha, you got completely scammed by that cop. That ticket was never reported and the cop had an extra $50 in spending money that night. Mexican police use this trick all the time to rip off Americans. They pull you over, make up some bullsh!t offense you committed, and say they're going to have to arrest you, then they add "Or, you could just pay the fine directly to me and we won't have to take you to jail". The cop keeps your $40 and you don't get taken to jail.

I can't beleive ytou paid the cop in cash.

Haha, yes. If it was a real ticket, you'd have an address to mail a check to.

Was the cop driving a green Camaro with a snake tattoo on his arm? 😀

At least he didn't get hit by a Wallet Inspector 😉

4) Pay your fine and move on, everyone gets nailed once in a while
I did, since DMV in Oklahoma and California are not linked, I have to pay the fine up front, so the cop followed me to an ATM and paid him cash.

Ummm... that sounds more like you gave him a bribe.

Edit: Apparantly that's already been pointed out. Did he actually give you a written ticket? Does it have any information on it?
