Sigh...no MSF classes available for 2 monthes in my area

Last I heard, they were considering allowing 1:1 classes for the well heeled student.

Got $?

Also, you can look in the surrounding area, I knew folks that would travel 100's of miles to take the classes when I was teaching them.

If they have a Friday, Sat, Sun class, it's only 2 nights in a hotel...

there are alternatives to MSF..

harley's program.. then honda has its riders edge..

check your local community college they have it too.

If your over 21 and in CA you can go get a permit.. and start riding.. to get a permit you need to pass both the motorcycle handbook and the standard rulebook that's used for cars.

Where are you? Around me, there are like 3 places that offer classes so you gotta try all of them.

I took mine a month ago on a tuesday and signed up for class starting that friday. Woulda had to wait 3 weeks for a weekend, but the following monday and tuesday classes were avail.

MSF in the Detroit area are full for the entire season, BUT, there are always people that drop out. Go there as a walk-in and although i can't promise you'll get in, get there early and you're ALMOST guaranteed a spot in the course.

Colorado. Everyone else I've talked to is either too far away or booked all season...there are weekday classes but I can't take days off from work around now as 2 guys on our team are gone for a month.

Have you asked if the classes keep a waiting list? We had about a 5% no show rate & would shoe horn in some folks @ the last minute.

Yeah, I'm on the waiting lists at 4 locations within 40 miles of my house.
