sure. just have to watch it. it kinda smells like cheese and that draws rats and mice. so you might wake up to a rat gnawing off your ding a ling.

Of course. It's like, giving you a gun. It still shoots, but only blanks. Meaning, it won't ruin yours or anyone else's lives, like kids do.

Lolz, and thats why you don't want to get rid of the testes completley like someone else said (sarcasitaclly i hope!!)

Did you have the "reversible vasectomy" or did you have the "I really don't want any more kids" vasectomy?

I think the diff b/t the two is the first uses small metal clamps that they leave in your scrotum and the second they actually cauterize the vas deferns.

That makes me queasy just thinking about it....metal clamps...

Post-delivery restrictions only apply to one part. She could still assist you in other ways. If she can't take care of you, maybe she'll be sympathetic and let you get some outside assistance. :)

The always is liability if surgery is botched - a doctor cannot waive liability if he is negligent.

The issue is that due to the body's inherent healing processes, sometimes the vas (sperm tube) will heal up no no matter how much the doc slashes and burns. That's why they warn you to say that there is a possibility that it might need to be redone. The likelihood is pretty low with the 'permanent' techniques, but nevertheless, it still happens occasionally.

It's nothing to do with so you can't sue if they botch it. Because, no matter what you sign, or what you are told, you can always sue, if surgery is botched.

Not something I would want to go through again, either. :(

For me, the worst part was when the anaesthetic didn't take the first time, which I found out as soon as he started slicing.

Almost as bad (mentally, at least) was being in stirrups. There is just something very emasculating about that.

He doesn't have both arms amputated, why does he need any assistance?

oh man i am not happy on this

UPDATE: We go in to talk to him this afternoon. for the last 3 samples i have had 3-5 sperm but they have been dead. well you should have ZERO sperm so he was worried. I guess he talked to the head of the department this morning and they want me to go another 2 months of testing since it can take up to 6 months before they give the clear.

we asked what if he clamped it or burned it. when he did it he did both. burned the ends and clamped it.

so i have to have a LOT of sex over the next 2 months. bad part is my wife is still on restrictions from post-delivery (child) for another 3 weeks =(

I hear you dude, I had to go 2 1/2 months after our daughter was born :(...add to that the fact that I was in the US and my wife in Canada for the previous 9 months, and it had been almost a year since we had done anything worthwhile.

We're catching up now, but she's not wanting to go on BC, and I'm stuck with skins :(
