Sigh..It's a sign of the times..Museums now have metal detectors

Went to the Natural meuseum of history in DC. i havent been to any smithsonian meuseum in ages. and to my surprise, they had metal detectors. i hate going thru those things since i carry so much junk. glasses, watch, palm cell, etc

and i asked the guard if all the meusuems have the same, he said yes

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is NYC had security going through everyone bags, jackets, etc the last time I was there (in addition to metal detectors).
