To reset the computer's BIOS, you start by unplugging the computer, then use the Clear CMOS jumper (the motherboard's manual tells how) or remove the battery for a little bit (30 seconds ought to do it). Then plug the system back in and it should be at default BIOS settings and need its clock set to the right time again.
