Well about every 6-12 months I get a yerning to want to play UO again. I am on the verge of reactivating my account. Help!

ps. If you still play UO how much has it changed since AoS? Anything cool? I know a new expansion came out and I know they are working on a new one as well.

I never could stand to pay a monthly charge for online play unless it paid for my broadband connection too... I think UO and WOW, etc are all ripoffs.

Get on a free shard for UO. That way you can at least play for free.

If you continue to play the game, it is fine. If you continuously buy single player games and beat them, then never play them again, then a MMORPG is well worth it.

I have the same problem with EQ. But I never stick with it. It's not the game it used to be.

No sorry never liked the free shards. The monthly fee doesnt bother me its just the fact that I keep going back. I have a 60 priest in WoW but I can rid myself of the love that is UO. Its was my first MMO, its was the best MMO untill it was changed MANY times. Yet I STILL go back to it.

I have the same problem with EQ. But I never stick with it. It's not the game it used to be.

UO is in the same situation its changed so drastically. I hated just about every change and yet still find myself playing it every few months. *sigh*

They sent me an email a few days back for a free 7 day game code to re-activate my account. I may do it just to take a look around and see what it is like now.
