It suddenly decided to change all my folders to thumbnail view. What a POS this thing is about remembering simple stuff. I hate thumbnail view for everything except pictures.

you can completely turn it off, but theny you lose thumbnail view and filmstrip view IIRC.

The ONLY thing that makes windows bareable and usable for me, is dopus - (www.gpsoft.com.au). I'd dread to have to go back and use windows without it. Well - TBH -- I'm at work atm, and this comp hasn't got it - (nor Firefox) - (just reminding me of how much I hate IE too :-/ ) - and damn it seems so hard and long-winded to do anything meaningful...

When all your folders suddenly switch to thumbnail view it just plain sucks. I had ever folder exactly how I wanted them to be, some thumbnailed, some tiled and some details.

Now they are all thumbnailed so I have to start all over.
