Sigh. I Hate Group Projects.

Why can't people just do thier part and what they say they will do. 🙁

I hate group projects. I always end up with the most work because I wouldn't trust em. Well, this time I had enough decided to just do just my part and nothing more.

Well... the video editing is crap and it's not even watchable. Somehow she captured it wrong and you can literally count the blocks from the resolution I believe. 😛 I dont even know how to do video editing but I gues it's time to learn.

Screwed no matter what in group projects. 🙁

that's life, i've been in your type of situation and what i learned is that you cant always count on your partner. you should take the initiative and do it all yourself and leave the group!

I'm in 3 group projects this semester as well. You just gotta roll with the punches

true, but i think in most cases you can if you think you're capable enough ~ any professor would have to understand that some partners are just leeching off the "smart" ones of the group. unfortunately a lot of people get through life as a leecher =\.

I had one last semester. the prof let us kick/fail one member since they didn't do anything. That solved that problem.

I'm pretty frustrated with my group for a history presentation at the moment. I wanted to get together to work on it over the weekend, but no, "we have plenty of time-it's due Wednesday." Well, tonight I had to work from after school til 4:30, work on a different project with someone else in another class from 5-6:15, had a rehearsal from 6:30-9:30. Have been doing homework at home since. Tomorrow I have a class from 5:30-9. If they can't meet immediately after school tomorrow, we've got a problem.

Well, in high school, I just go with people I trust.

when or if you go to college, you're not always going to have the same friends in each class, unless you guys are well coordinated. also, some of the profs in my school actually assign you partners.

The last 2 group project I was in, I had to do everything myself. The second one, I had to literally do it by my self cause rest of the people dropped out and I was left to come up with a 20 minute presentation about Capitalism. When ever some one says group work I want to beat them to death with a dildo. :|

I wish I had those professors. Most of mine argue and make the case that IRL you can't pick your partners and you have to learn to work with your partners. 🙁 I'm doing all the work in one group and did most of the work in another group, so I wish I could be by myself

I hate it it, when I am the one to do all the work in one of these group projects, and someone else who did absolutely nothing tries to take all the credit for the project. Most of my teachers seem to realize that I am the one who does most of the work, luckily, but I am still in highschool.

I used to hate them as well, but they do prepare you for work groups. When you get into bigger companies and projects are dumped into your lap you will appreciate the test runs you had.

Group projects aren't too bad. It brings people closer ... just make sure you get grouped with the hotties. 😀

yeah, in that case it doesn't matter whether they produce or not! just sit there and look pretty 😀.

In my AP English class, I love doing group projects, mostly because my friends and I can make a video. I've been contemplating our Hamlet movie for a couple weeks now, and we're not even gonna read the thing for a few weeks, much less have the film due. I'm a cinephile, and I love making movies too.

I have never seen a prof let you out of of doing a group project. It would seem to me to defeat the purpose.

But anyway. yeah group projects suck. But I have learned to bug the people im with. Yeah it may piss them off but i dont really care. im not in college to make friends.

good point, i need that kinda nerve you have.

I just finished a great group presentation today. By far the best group I have ever had. 10 of us and we all showed everytime we were supposed to meet. Everything went off without a hitch. This is the rare exception.
