Sigh, Help Overclocking

I have looked every were, and i cannot find anything to help me OC my E8400. And i dont know if its only me but everyone talking about 400mhz and then changing the multipler. when i go into my fsb its like 1333mhz I looked every were couldnt find a low numbered mhz. i have read every e8400 thing here, its like my bios looks completely different.


I have P5N-D motherboard... latest bios. (i think)

Uhh thanks, but um i have read that.... like its completely different then what he says. Like its that stupid front side bus. Like he says it says 400fsb or a low number mine is 1333fsb so im totally confused and all the settings he lists aren't any were to be found...

I have the exact same mobo and CPU as you do. Please PM me and I'll help you out. I'm currently at 3.825GHz Orthos stable 24 hours using 1.45 volts.:)

The number you're seeing is 4 times the FSB as most people refer to it. 333 MHz x 4 = 1333 MHz.

Thank you dsf, I kind of figured that i just wasn't sure. =) But also like i got it to 3.6 ghz. What is Orthos can somebody tell me that real quick.
