you didn't look at the course schedule very hard.

under section studio arts, ART, there is a lower division digital foundations (303L) course that is probably what you're looking for.

description:

INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL, MULTIMEDIA, AND OTHER TIME-BASED ART. MAY BE TAKEN FOR CREDIT ONLY ONCE. ART 301L AND 303L MAY NOT BOTH BE COUNTED. RESTRICTED TO ART AND ART HISTORY MAJORS. STUDENTS WHO DO NOT ATTEND THE FIRST 2 CLASS MEETINGS WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE COURSE.

there are multiple upper division classes for digital art as well.
