Sigh cooler master 212

So I put together my new computer yesterday. The coolmaster has settings for the 3 intel sockets on it's bracket and you basicly pull up on a spring to set it. They came in the setting for 1366 which is weird considering I had read they came in 1156 by default. Not an issue since you just pull up on the screw that's spring loaded and drop it in place... only one screw had it's spring stopper set higher than the rest that made it impossible to change it's setting. I was able to pry the stopper lose and thus change the setting, but I couldn't get the stopper back in place so one of the screws is no longer spring loaded so it's not putting as much pressure on the processor although the hsf is still solidly on the motherboard.

Sigh, really don't want to mess with rmaing it or something. My idle temps are 30 degrees. Playing wow while installing some other stuff in the backround, it never went above 47 degrees. I'm still planning on overclocking it some though so those will go up.

Your temps are still pretty killer. 30ºC is well below body temperature, so you're looking at probably just above room temperature. The only way to get lower temperatures is to use a TEC or something even more extreme as even water cooling can't push idle temps below room temperature. 47ºC as a load temperature is also pretty nice.
