after columbine we had school canceled on bomb threats 7 times in the following month

When I was in high school my school had two bomb threats, one gun threat, and someone actually threw a mov cocktail at the building...

The sent out an email two hours after the incident. Happened 2 blocks away and nobody around here knew about it until the email.

For me, USC always means Southern Cal (because I live in LA and it's a big-name school). But when I was in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago, whenever I said USC, people thought U of S. Carolina. Guess it depends on where you are ...

There was a pipe bomb discovered in the park just outside of my kid's school today, maybe an 1/8th of a mile and on the way home. A maintenance guy found it, and moved it to a shed, then called the police. They came and blew it up.
Of course, they said they couldn't be sure how long it had been there.

uh...i've visited university of texas and the campus is gigantic HUGE!

texas has almost 50,000 students comparing to tenn's 26,000 students according to wiki.
