At this year’s AMD FirePro SIGGRAPH booth 1023, Lumiscaphe will be demoing real-time rendering of complex photorealistic scenes at 4K using P3D running on HP workstation equipped with an AMD FirePro W9100. So just how impressive is this?

Check out the screen grabs below (scaled to 18% of original size and jpg compressed) of the images that were rendered in real-time at 4K. These images can be rendered and manipulated at 30-40 FPS at full 4K resolution using the AMD FirePro W9100.

I don't know how you can say that the textures on the floor look wrong when the human eye can not focus on such a wide area without some parts of the area being a little blurry, to me it looks real just as your eyes would see it to be.

I wish they would have at least given us lossless PNG or TIFF files to look at :) Still, I'm looking forward to seeing this!

Wow, I can't tell that is rendered or a real photo. Amazing stuff and to do it at 4K and 30-40 fps is just beyond belief.

The car is rendered but the environment is a HDRi image that lights the scene.
