on the Siemens website the show a cordless phone with bluetooth that looks really kick ass. I froogled and nothing came up, looking back at the Siemens web page I was on the US section and not some other weird country. So I google the product and it comes up on a ton of UK sites, apparently this phone isn't going to be released in the US. I know I'd need a converter for the power, but is there any other reason I couldn't use this phone in the US? it's almost perfect for what I'm looking for, and I can't find anything close to it from any company here in the states.

The phone plugs are diffrent as well. Im not sure if you could get an adapter for that. There are at least 3-4 cordless phones with bluetooth avalible domesticly. I can think of one by Uniden, Panasonic, and Motorola has an adapter that works with some of its cordless phones that lets you connect with bluetooth cell phones to make calls that way.

OK, well, here's an adapter: http://www.laptoptravel.com/Product.aspx?ID=1785. But with a strong Pound and weak Dollar, you're gonna spend a fortune on the phone, plus figure a bit more to get it able to work over here.

I know there are other BT phones in the US, but this Siemens one looks KILLER. Even if I could get it working here in the states, you're right paying to have it imported would be too expensive. Maybe I'll look into what Panasonic has they use to make killer phones.
