Good price on the Dazzle. Compusa had it at $20 once, but when I read reviews, they almost unanimously pointed out the bad quality. So even though the price is good, I'd say spend $30 or more on a TV tuner card with Svid.

YMMV indeed. I had trouble making Siemens switches work in my Netgear network. I couldn't get DHCP to save my life, and believe me, I tried. The minute I replaced the Siemens switch with a Netgear FS105 -- viola! (intended misspell) Everything worked then and since. Can't speak for any other brand routers and NICs.

I did not have problem using Netgear with Siemens product. I have a netgear router connect to Siemens switch and it works fine. I did not have problem at all.
