Holy crap, I wish toys looked this good when I was little :

sideshowtoy.com

I seriously love a ton of stuff I'm seeing there. Arkham City Batman, and the 1989 Batmobile are freaking amazing. Maybe I'll get my sons some of this stuff when they get older (if they are still into superhero stuff, lol). Ah who am I kidding, I'd love one of these things on my shelf lol.

I was going to say that it was a rip off for those prices, then I saw the two foot tall batman statue.

I've never been much into super heroes or comics. Maybe when I was very little, but not any time in my double digits of age. There's a few characters from video games I could see getting, but I wouldn't pay any real money for them.

Yeah those prices are nuts. I have some Thor comics put away for my sons, but that's because my actual name is Thor :)

However, good lord the quality of these things is spectacular :

Predator is so creepy I'd probably not sleep with that thing in my room, it would make me think of this lol :

Is that movie any good? I never heard of it before. Animated dolls are especially creepy, and always add a nice touch to horror films.

I saw it way back in the early 90s when I was 12 or 13 with my best friend. We LOVED it, they were full on proud B-movies, but with a unique quirky quality to them. If you can handle terrible acting and overall cheese factor and enjoy that kind of film, I think it's worth a shot. I'm actually getting the first one again just to see it again, it's been years.

I got both Batmobiles (1989 and Tumbler) and about three dozen other pieces from them. The Batmobiles are HUGE. Their stuff is pricey, but Sideshow makes some awesome toys.

That's badass. Is the quality in person as pristine as it is in the photos? I swear some of their photos (like the ones for Starcraft) look impossibly good.

Sheesh, I sound like an advertisement and I've never even seen one of these things in person lol.

Is there decent collectability to their stuff? I guess I don't care in the end, I'll probably end up ordering something or other eventually.

Nothing ever looks as good as sales photos, but they are pretty decent.
