My screen is normally in 1024x748 resolution, but when I play StarCraft it automatically switches to 640x480. When it does this, it zooms in too far or something and a lot of stuff that I know is supposed to be around the edges is cut off (a good portion of the minimap is off the screen, if you are familiar with SC). Why does it do this and how can I fix it? I know (hope) this is a stupid question and has a simple solution.
Thanks for your time and help in advance. You have helped me twice before and I appreciate it.

Your monitor has controls to size and position the image. They're on the front panel of your monitor (maybe under a small cover). If you can't figure out how to use the controls read the manual.

You don't understand. It's fine when the resolution is 1024x745. It only cuts off the edges when it switches to 640x480. So if I adjust the monitor so that it doesn't cut off the image in 640x480, then there will be these big black margins on the screen when I go back to 1024x745. I need a different answer, but thanks for trying to help.

No, he's correct.

You need to setup your monitor for each resolution at the refresh rate it will run at. Your monitor should remember the settings, so adjusting it for 640x480 should not affect the setup for 1024x768.
