Side WIndows Case fan (Need Fast responses)

**IM GOING TO BE CUTTING SOON SO I WOULD LIKE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE FAST responses.

Well i finally got everything cut with my new dremel. THis is my first time using a dremel so i had to sand it down afterwards to cover up my errors.

Is it OK if there is smally gaps around 2 edges. like trying to put a square in a circle when the circle is a perfect circle and the squar is a little longer so there is SOME open area.

Now to the real quiestion... im using a Chieftec Dragon case with 2 8mm froint intakes and 2 80m exhaust with dual ball bearing PSU fans and a CPU fan. When i cut i put it right in the center so its farely close to the processor. Should it be intake or exhaust.

Im thinking intake as it would feed the CPU fresh air however if i put it as exhaust it would creat a sort of vacuum right there and starve the processor of air because one is sucking air out whereas the processor fan is trying to blow air in.

SO is some open area ok?

Intkae or Exhaust?

use some c-style strips to cover the border of the hole you drilled in. That way, imperfections are covered up, and that gap you are referring to may disappear 😀

Also, i might apt to cover the hole up with a nice looking dust filter, and duct the cpu fan directly to that.
In this manner, the airflow of your case will not be affect too much - still allowing the exhaust out the upper back method to work properly - and the added benefit that your cpu gets ambient temp air rather than warmed air from harddrives etc.

Yeah i am ordering a duct mod however im going to connect it to something else so i dont have to disconnect it everytime i open my case.

What are C-Style strips?

So should it be intake?

Ok now what about c-style strips? What are those.

Also i scratched a circle as i used the circle tracer that came with the dremel... any way to cover some of my errors up?

Wire loom is the stuff you put around wires to keep them together. Go look out in your car, its the black stuff with wires inside it.

Here is wire loom.
Here is c-strip.

btw Gamingphreek, how did the noise level change after you installed the window. By noise level I mean the loudness of your computer from outside.
