I went down to my car today and the side mirror drivers side is completely broken off. It had to have happened while it was parked in the middle of the night. I live in an apartment complex. What are my options here? I think there are cameras but not sure if they have view of my car. I'm going to talk to the landlord asap tommorow of course, just wondering if anybody else experienced anything like this.

I went into a best buy and came out to my car and the mirror was ripped off my car. $100 for a new mirror and 30 minutes of work I had a new one on my car.

Go to a body shop and get a quote. Depending on the car and whether the mirror is body color, the price can range from reasonable to somewhat painful.

Try to call the local junk yard companies if you do not have full coverage insurance. They may have your model/make.

Nick1985 punched it off and took it as a souvenir.

This is evidence as to why people suck. Breaking people's stuff for no reason. Murder is likely your only option. An eye for a mirror.

Was the driver's side next to the road while the car was parked? A passing vehicle could have caused the damage...

It's parked in my marked spot at my apartment complex. If you saw it you would see there's no way this was inadvertant.

Who has the marked spot on your drivers side futurefields? Perhaps that's the culprit? :hmm:

WHEN VIDEO GAMES TURN REAL. NEWS AT 11.

Was probably someone playing GTAV that confused the game with real life and thought you were a hooker. Shit is so real people be confusing all the time. Be glad it was just the mirror, and they didn't f*ck you, then beat you down for their money back, then steal you car.

Find the same make/model and steal theirs. Nobody knows who lost the original mirror.

I'm so pissed.

This is going to cost me a fortune.

I don't have full coverage.

It's a 20 year old Honda Accord (in great condition minus the missing mirror).

The mirror is body color.

Looks like this:
