just installed amd 1.2 and kt7 msi mobo.I have 16 meg tnt.(i know, but) at 1.2 gig monitor does not act up or display. When i overclock to 1.30 about.Sometimes i will even get a snaping noise from monitor(in back). Is it video card, monitor falt??if video card?is it on way out or thats just what 16meg will be like at 1.3

For one, that video card isn't doing you any justice with a 1.2 GHz Athlon! I'd highly recommend you upgrade to a newer video card. The only snapping noises that I know of are when the monitor is changing resolutions (my old MAG 17" made noises), or, your monitor is starting to die. Does the screen do anything funny when is snaps?
What brand of monitor and how old is it?

kds 19 inch.I have hard time rebooting when i'm overclocking.I get error on monitor saying check your cable or computer.I set cpu back to default and everything is ok..What cheap video card is out there

Oh, then your problem isn't the video card. You may have a dud CPU, which won't overclock very well or at all. You may need to up the voltage on your CPU to, say, 1.8 or 1.85 volts. This may get you to 1.3 GHz withoout a problem.

i uped voltage a little. So far so good at 1.3...Runing a steady 79 degress F not celsius. have to look into voltage anounts...?Its a AXIA with 3rd line digit a 9
