Side banding does nothing and makes overclocking much harder.

I would stay with side banding disabled. You will not get any speed increases.

Coki- You say it makes o/c harder? I have my Athlon 850@1025 with my Geforce o/c to 145/345 with sideband, fast writes, and AGP 4x enabled. I am doing just fine... Is that maybe an Intel thing?

Sideband does something. Otherwise they wouldn't have implemented it. Example:

AGP 2x 66Mhz w/sideband is faster than AGP 2x at 100Mhz w/o sideband.

Sad but true :)

What Coki was refering to was making it harder to overclock using higher fsb frequencies, mainly for older 440bx boards that don't have a 1/2 agp divider. According to Anand's roundup SBA does NOT add any performance increases, however it was being tested on the 440bx which only uses agp 2x. I doubt that would make any difference though, it seems to be a useless feature.
