Sickest bug I ever saw

A week back at about 10:00 I was waiting to go see a movie walking around and there were lots of people around. Well something was fluttering around by the sidewalk and crashing into some guy's leg and stunned he turned around. A bunch of people basically formed a small group around this most ghastly of creatures. Upon further inspection I saw something I can describe as only a mutant grasshopper. It was built like that but it was flying (although only a few feet at a time because it was too heavy for its wings). Its body was basically an AA battery but longer with huge wings. An ungodly beast to be sure it was the largest I'd ever seen in real life.

Bugs like that prove God doesn't exist because He'd never make such a foul thing. I think if it had flown up my leg I'd Jump and hop, skipping around screeching like a 4 year old girl just thrown into a cage of snakes.

I dont suppose it was a ....... "Flying Grasshopper," AKA a "Locust"? (As pointed out above)

Skoorb I am with you on this. I can't stand bugs. The ones that fly make me quiver in fear.

I used to run and scream whenever bees came near me, so if I saw a locust in real life I would probably faint and smash my head open on the curb.

Flying bugs = suck
