Sick with a fever

Well, I have strep throat and a temperature of 102.5... I've already got some drugs, but I need to figure out a way to break this fever. Does anyone have some suggestions? I'm taking aspirin along with amoxicillin.

A fever is not a bad thing, your body is turning up the heat to kill an infection, just wait it out.

Yes and no. The first two, yes. But as much as the body needs to heal, it needs to "move and breathe" too. Step out on the patio...go outside, just don't go far. Get some sunlight on your face. Inhale fresh air. Open some windows in the house to let the sickness out. The smell of sickness can make you sicker. That's what happens w/me, anyway.

temp of 102.5 is pretty high. Just stay in bed and watch some TV, or take a few capfuls of Nyquil and sleep it off. If your throat is sore gargle some warm, almost hot, salt water.

Take anything with acetomenaphine. e.g tylenol.
