SICK SICK SICK

Watching a show on Animal planet called "Eaten Alive." Its about people who have really weird parasites.

One guy had creeping nematodes. These worms he got from South America. They were little worms that moved under his skin and caused so much pain he had to take pesticides to kill them. When he started taking the pesticides, the worms started fleeing from crawling under his skin.

Another guy let some botfly larvae or something exist in his stomach. He saw a lump come up and then disappear. Supposedly they come up for air using a snorkle type body part. He let it sit there until it cause him bad pain. It was this huge open abcess. He finally had to have it surgically removed after trying to get it using a steak and fingernail polish.

SO SICK. I feel like barfing.

Now they are talking about the fish that swim up your uretha and hook themselves in the uretha with spines. Some guy got one lodged in his happy guy and had to get it removed - because supposedly they eat and continue to eat once lodged inside.

PS: SICK The fish was 6 inches long.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yeah that last one is called the Candiru. If you piss in a river with those fellas, they'll sense the heat or something from your urine and try to crawl up your pee pee. The only way to get rid of it is to chop off your pee pee or use some special herb. Thankfully those guys are only in South America and africa i think 🙂

That's for real?! I heard of it before and thought "yeah, right."
Whoa!

It goes after the ammonia

The pics of the penis fish make me feel like dying. That is possibly the worst thing that could ever happen to you.

OMG.

How could you not stop something even a tenth of that size from getting up there?

I'm guessing it was smaller when it entered but still.

Supposedly he grabbed at it but it slithered out of his grip and it uses hooks to drag/hold itself into place.

Ahhhhh! That poor bastard had to have his penis chopped off! Oh, I've never been so angry at a fish. Surely there can be some other way than a penectomy?

EEeeeeeeeeEeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkk

that is GROSS!

i noticed they air a lot of these potentially harmful shows on tv at around meal times. could be wrong tho 🙂

I think now days something like this could be removed surgically... even by cutting the penis in half lengthwise if necessary to remove it. I seriously doubt it would have to be amputated.
