Sick of every tv show trying to make me cry at certain spots

Every show, even hard core voilent shows like Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy always have these episodes where some chick with an acoustic guitar will start singing some in the arms of the angel crap, and its a fucking montage of everybody crying.

I can't be the only person who is sick of this shit.

Stop trying to make me cry! It's literally to the point where I stop watching shows as soon as they start trying to get all sappy on me. I mean wtf is wrong with people where they feel the need to watch a show to make them sad? Good god.

Not everyone has the same feelings, what may be sad for one person can be extremely eye rolling for others. It just depends.

Lots of shows are made with idiotic storylines / plots, or with injected PC crap, (or...) and the only thing you can do is switch shows.

I'm tired of shows where the characters, no matter how conservative, all become open-minded touchy-feely liberals by season three. See The Waltons, MASH, and The Simpsons. Then again, I haven't watched TV in decades so producers probably value my opinions only slightly higher than I value theirs.
