This is a fresh Windows install, and it has happened numerous times in the past.
Out of nowhere, some icons like Adobe Photoshop and others would have their icon not display correctly even though when I right click then go to properties > customize, I can see the icon correctly displayed, so I click on apply again but it still is messed up.
I have read this issue in Windows 7 on some forums and there seems to be no fix and some users have actually downgraded back to Vista just because of this
anyone know why this happens or how to fix it?
If I choose another icon for that icon it displays fine, but the exe seems to lose the icon even though it has that icon and maybe some other built in. 🙄
