[I just realized I probably didn't post this in the right forum, sorry.]
MISSION:
I Need/Demand a STABLE system! I am giving up on SLI and just want a good single GPU solution. Please recommend a motherboard & video card that will perform better than my dual 6800GT and be "stable" I don't care about any overclocking at this point I've had it with the problems. I am leaning towards either a x1900xt or a 7900gt on a Asus A8N32 Deluxe mb.
HISTORY:
I went from a stable A64 3000+ on an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe >> Opty 165 on same Mobo (All kinds of problems) >> Opty 165 on MSI K8N Platinum SLI

This box is the most annoying box I've ever owned... I'm not going into all the problems as with all my years experience I can't even logically begin to explain them all without rambling. The most common problem is reboot and USB doesn't work at the BIOS level and no kb errors etc. I heard this was an nf4 chipset issue.
The other annoying issue is when my system is left sitting or an hour+ and I come back and try to fire up World of Warcraft... I get the WoW hardware cursor and a lock up. Reboot everything good.
Take out one of my 6800GT's and everything seems to run great. I have a killer P/S and most of my H/W is not run of the mill.
