I've got a Shuttle FX41 equiped with an AGP Vid card (second PC) that was perking along just fine--until just after New Egg's 30 day return. I had a need to utilize the Shuttle's built in VGA recently and found that it was not working.
Anyone know anything about returning this Shutle X to Shutle for repair? I went to their Site, but found ziltch.
Thanks.

Don't send it to Shuttle. Send it to Newegg. Their response is amazing. You can do the whole process online - see "RMA Request" at the top and followed the directions carefully. I buy 3-4 things a month from Newegg and have done probably 6 RMAs in 2 years flawlessly and quickly.

Heinrich, I'm way past New Eggs 30 day return policy. As I understand it, after reading Egg's policy, after 30 days you are on your own--with the manufacture's warranty. Please correct me if I,m wrong.
Thanks

I purchased a Cannon printer from Newegg that was damaged during shipping. Called Newegg and they said that I would have to contact Cannon. Kinda pissed me off, but I called Cannon and they had a new part in the mail the next day w/ 2nd day delivery. Very short wait on phone to speak to Cannon Rep, and he said they had a packing problem with the new printer and they were aware of it and correcting it. Cannon had great service, but felt like Newegg passed the buck.

You're wrong. Go to "newegg.com" then on the upper banner "RMA Request" and follow the instructions. As I said, I've done this about 6 times including 1 MB a few weeks ago that I bought in May.

Newegg's 30-day thing is CYA, basically. I've returned stuff to them for replacement well after that, and they've always been good about it. They don't have a 9.84 reseller rating for nothing, you know... :p

Newegg has a 30 day return. Are you wanting it RETURNED or FIXED? Newegg will provide warranty fix. So will Shuttle. I've RMA'd an SS51 to Shuttle and they did a repair under warranty for free (except my shipping to them). Much better than some other motherboard manufacturers who will not deal with end users or who want a processing fee.

Whether you want to do an RMA repair from Newegg or from the manufacturer is up to you. Will probably cost you the same in terms of shipping costs and downtime.

Have you tried clearing BIOS with the jumper?

Newegg's "warranty fix" is a new replacement board, so long as you send all accessories, and they turn it around within 48 hours of receipt. If they don' t have a replacement because the model was discontinued then they will suggest a different board. If you don't like it you get a 100% refund. Even if it's 8 months later. They did that with an Epox board of mine that blew it's BIOS chip.

This is a non-issue. Don't stress, ponder, wonder or worry. Just send to newegg. Sheesh.
