Yo,, i'm really diggin the looks of the shuttle cases, but i've noticed all their power supplies to be from 250-300,, will that still let me put in the 6800gt or like an x800 Pro????

careful; your being brave🙂 to make a statement like that!!
Somebody will tell you thats not possible......heheeee

I use a OKIA 600watt PSU w/dual quad 12v rails!!!

OKIA the name legends are made from!!

I am running a Shuttle SN45G with a 200 watt PS and I have a BFG6800GT OC installed and haven't had any issues. Although I have been running with the case off because I have been too lazy to install a blow hole to help cool the case. However, the newer Shuttles are better in that regard so additional cooling shouldn't be necessary.

That's the big drawback of the shoebox style barebone systems - most of the stuff inside is proprietary. Take a look at the Chenming 118 or the Aspire X-Qpack (variants on the same case) or the Enermax Venus series as they will take standard, inexpensive parts while still being fairly compact and decent looking.

The Chenming and Aspire can use normal size ATX PSUs (approx. 5.5" deep) if you use short-chassis optical drives. Even a full-length optical may fit but it will be very tight. The OEM PSUs in those cases are a half to an inch shorter than standard ATX. Cases like the Venus series use an SFX (microATX) variant that are available up to 400+ Watts (see Athena Power). The OEM in the Venus is an excellent 270W unit with 20A max on the +12 rail - which output, of course, is dependent on the other rails being relatively lightly stressed.
. There are several threads in the C & C section that talk the Chenming/Aspire to death...

Still well within specs. Shuttle PSUs are made to be beefy enough to handle everything that you can fit in the case.

well,, i guess i don't mind modding a PSU,, to fit, "Dremel" umm,, but will there be heat issues if everything is too tight

Dude I use to have a hewlett packer that came with a psu 250watts so I think if not it was 200.I swear it was very crappy. And then I didnt have enough molex for my 6800 so i had to hook it up sharing it with one of my drives. It run stable and fine And yes it be okay.
