is there ne replacement options? im just curious b/c this I.C.E thing is making my SB62G2 with a p4 3.2 northwood run at ~50*C at idle and laod.. lol suprisingly the load is actually less then idle... dont ask why


neways is there an alteritive to this cooling?

i would make sure the tempuratures are correct. fromw hat you're telling me, they're not. I would also recommend you reapply the thermal paste with some AS5 or so. That should help bring down the temps a bit. Pentiums tend to run pretty hot, just to let you know. the cooling provided inside the shuttle should be more than enough. they have excellent cooling. still, installing aftermarket hsf's is still possible, though you'll have to sacrifice perhaps a pci slot or a 3.5" bay for it. I've seen people put xp-90's in their G5 cases.

the ICE coolers in the shuttles actually perform really well.....i dont see how your load temps can be lower than idle, so i would not go by the temps you are getting
