I'm looking into building a SFF PC finally, and have narrowed it down to these two. THey seem to be the creme de la creme :)

At fist I was dead set on the Shuttle nForce2 version, but the features of the MSI one has got me sittin on a fence.

Are there any known issues with the two systems before I go out and purchase one?

ANy info would be appreciated :)

Well, the MEGA is just coming out ... and its not using the latest great chipsets (for Intel or AMD CPUs). Shuttles are out and proven; shortcomings are well-documented. If you are willing to wait a few months, the MEGA might be worth a little more consideration. But, if you buy today, I would risk anything on the MEGA.

Granted, I'm waiting for the right opportunity to build an SFF HTPC. If I knew there was an nForce2 MEGA in the works, I'd definitely wait for it.

See that's the problem, the only AMD version for the Mega PC will be using the KM400 chipset. And these shortcomings for the shuttle, anything too serious? I'm not looking to wow people with my 3dmark score, I just want a computer that is relatively silent, small, portable to an extend (LAN parties :)) and stable. But I would also like the features of a HTPC.. just incase I get my HDTV :)
