alrite, this is probably an extremely stupid question, but i was looking around on the newegg site for a shuttle case and came across this.

now it says barbones, but does that mean no mobo either?

if so, what mobo fits into that case?

TIA

When you are looking at shoebox PCs, the mobo, PSU and sometimes the CPU cooler are part of an integrated design (all proprietary) and are included, so it doesn't really fit the original definition of "barebones" (case, PSU, mobo, FDD, kbd and mse - a CD-ROM drive was added to the inventory later). Shoeboxes may also include slim optical drives if that's what they require and flash card readers.

Farther down the page it lists almost everything that's included.

I'd suggest you put together a system in something like the Aspire X-QPack or the Chenming 118 or the Ultra Fly box (all pretty mucht the same case) or something like the Enermax Venus series case rather doing a shoebox, so you can have more expansion room and all standard parts for ease of upgrade and replacement.

It includes everything shown. XPC barebones include case, power supply, motherboard, and cooling solution. You add processor, drives, RAM, and if you like sound and/or video cards.
