I sent a Shuttle back for repair under warranty. The power supply had blown and had destroyed the motherboard, CPU, and memory. This was just before the one-year warranty period ended.
They replaced the power supply and sent it back with the note "Tested OK". They didn't repair the motherboard, and obviously never tested *that*, since the machine won't power up for more than half a second before the red "CPU overtemp" LED goes on and the machine shuts off.
They sent it back after the one-year-from-purchase period had ended.
Is there any way to get them to honor their warranty? Does anyone have contact information? When I call the phone number on their website, I get a recorded message telling me that they only give phone support to corporate customers, and that as a retail buyer I cannot talk to anyone.
Is this Shuttle's standard customer service, or did I just get an incompetent tech?
Note: had to create a new userid, I can't find the password or email address I joined with for my old one.
