Hi !

Quick question :

I already have...
- Athlon64-FX 3500+
- 1GB of RAM
- 80GB IDE HD
- 200 SATA HD
- Plextor 708A DVD writer
- ASUS V9999 GT/TD 256MB

... and i'm thinking about buying the Shuttle SN95G5 V3. I'm wondering if the PSU will be powerful enough to power all this and more important, does the PSU have enough molex connectors ?! My video card needs 2 of 'em + the DVD + IDE HD means that i'd need 4 molex connectors. I'm wondering if those who already own the SN95G5 V3(or a similar model with the same PSU) can tell me how many molex connectors the PSU provides ? Keep in mind that i need to plug a SATA drive too...

Or could i just use a coupler on one of the molex connector ?!

Thanks :)

re-edited because i'm an idiot and i used the right terminology(hey, you learn something new everyday) :p

I've got a similar setup to you in my SN95G5 V2 - the difference being that both my drives are SATA, and my 9800 Pro only requires 1 power connector - and still have a few left over connectors (there was already a coupler in there in mine), so I don't think you should have a problem.

Well the IDE drive will probably get the boot sooner than later, so that shouldn't be a problem. The real problem i'm a bit scared of, is the fact that my videocard is one big power consumer and if the PSU can't cope with it, i'm screwed. Well, i'm not screwed because i could just stick with my behemoth tower that i named "Berta"(it's a Thermaltake XaserIII) :|

Basically, i want the Shuttle because i have a small desk and i really don't need all that free space in my current tower(i could stick the Shuttle IN my current tower !), so i just wanna make sure that my stuff will have enough power before going outside(the light! arrgh!) and go spend 400$CAN on a Shuttle
