I keep hibernating the XPC and it always powers itself back on in less than an hour. I've tested to see if it responds to the keyboard and mouse while hibernated and it does not. Hibernation, unlike sleep, saves the contents of memory to the hard drive and the system powers off completely. You can even disconnect everything from the hibernated computer, reconnect everything, then resume from hibernation.
What could possibly cause this behavior? Could bad capacitors suddenly discharge (or recharge after charge leakage) and simulate a press of the power button?
Any other ideas?

I also tested the theory of the "State after AC power lost" setting that can be found on some motherboards. When I disconnect and reconnect the power cable, the system does not power on automatically (unless I wait a while, anyway).
