Google!

Superb wire management, but no heatpipe.

Actually it does have a heatpipe, just not one that's connected to the exhaust.

The heatpipe is connected to the exhaust. Take a look at the third page of pictures that Viper linked to on AMDZone. If it weren't, the heatpipe would not effectively cool the cpu.

By the way, they need to make this the "G2" version or make an alternate version with the G2 look. I don't care for this front.

Nice... once my dell gets old I'm going to have to get one of these shuttle boxes.

What I'm curious is would one of these be good for a casual gamer (if I tossed in a 95000 or a ti4200)

I'm not talking hardcore...(my GF likes playing Black & White and Ragnarok forexample)

If not this then any suggestions? I'm looking at trying to do something small for ~300 or less

Are the motherboards in this user replaceable. I'm worried that a year down the road if I want to upgrade I will be stuck with the motherboard.

I was referring to the iDEQ.

I just put a SN41G2 together for a friend of mine with an Barton XP 2500+ and 1 GB Corsair PC2700 LL Ram.

1) It is pretty quite or at least compared to my fan blowing tower quite enough. You definitely can hear the fan kick on (has a temperature control fan speed regulator imbedded in the BIOS).

2) At least right now I doubt you'll ever be able to replace the MB. Very small and very proprietary. Other than that and very bright "on" light it isn't a bad unit, though I wouldn't bother much with overclocking.

I like these little boxes but they seem too noise with an AGP card installed. I built a G2 with an ATI AIW 32 DDR in it and I found it too noisy. The box sits next to my LCD so it's noticeable. Is this one any quieter, I hope? Looks like people find it to be quieter w/o the AGP card.

Looks like they finally got smart and put the optical in and out connections on the back of the case. I'll also add that the optical in is a nice addition.

i'll hold off on this until future generations of these boxes comes out.. right now they are focused on size and performance. Once they get to a certain point, they will factor in noise. That's when I'll buy -- what good is a box this small that I can't keep on the desk b/c it's too noisy? My current1 19" tower is loud, but i keep that sucker onthe floor.

its not just any agp card, its your agp card. AIW and 8500 cards have a loud fan in them. Try to get a card without a fan....

I'm interested in getting one but what good is a case if you cannot upgrade the motherboard. You will be stuck with a slow system a year down the road being unable to upgrade.
