Hi,

I have recently installed a sound blaster 5.1 sound card to my SN41G2 box. I uninstalled all the drivers including display ones. Then reinstalled the nForce drivers, rebooted then the sound card (creative) drivers then rebooted and then installed the display drivers that I used originally. I then rebooted, expecting to see a screen with more than 16 colours was annoyed to discover the video controller drivers went installed I stuck in the CD that came with the shuttle but it said their were not video controller drivers on it???

I have tried the latest chipset drivers and display drivers from shuttle tried to install then in different sequences. but I still get the message that their are no video controller drivers. I did try to manually select the right onboard graphics chip but found their were not listed.

Sorry for the long post.

First off you had no reason to remove your video drivers. Video drivers have a higher priority over soundblaster drivers. I would manually update the drivers by finding the video controller in device manager and select update drivers. Make sure to have the drivers in a easy to find location and point the installer directly to them.
