Shuttle SN25P and X2

I am looking at getting an SN25P but I want an X2 processor. Anybody have an stories of success or problems with this setup?

Tons of successes at SFF tech. You just have to make sure you use the latest bios.

I have one in my SN25P, just make sure you have the latest BIOS and you'll be fine! Enjoy!

Apparently there are some issues with X2 and USB2.0 usage. Check the thread at Sudhian for more info.

That said, this is probably not going to hold me back from getting the SN25P 😱

I've heard of issues as well with the X2 and USB 2.0. I would wait myself. Give the system a couple BIOS revisions to get things settled out, and for the X2 to come down in price.

Yup, thats what I've read as well.. BTW are you on SFFTech, I've been on it for 2 years now as "PaulS"

Anyway despite the problems with the X2 and SN25P, I succumbed (to BF2) and went out and bought a new SN25P anyway. :Q Venice 3000+/7800GTX... By the time the price on the X2 drops (in like a year), I sure hope that Shuttle will have a fix...

Lol I've mostly just read the posts.I just recently started posting. Until now I felt like a complete newb so I've been absorbing. Osmosis didn't work. Same name as here tho. If you see a Megamixman on a forum, it is most likely me.
