Hey,
I bought a shuttle sn25p from newegg. It is running the AMD 3700 San Diego processor. For ram, I am (trying) to use the Patriot PC3200 1GB modules (PEP1G3200LL). My problem is that the system runs only with one module. If I have both installed, the system will not POST. With just one, it runs and seems perfectly stable (winxp or linux). This is CL2 ram. I have tried swapping out each thinking one module is bad. It will run with one or the other but not both.
I was thinking maybe it doesn't like this ram. So, I borrowed some corsair 1gb modules (also CL2 CMX1024-3200C2) and I get the same result. Is there something I can do to fix this or will I need to RMA this bitch and be without a computer for another week?
This sucks..
btw, I am running the latest bios.....
Thanks for any help you can provide.
