Shuttle FV24 Spacewalker and hard drive

I had a couple problems putting this thing together for a friend, The first one wouldn't boot up so I sent it back now this one booted up and runs fine but it says I have a 1.99G.B. hard drive, It is a 40G.B. and when you go into the bios it says 40 and when it formatted it said 40, It is not going to be fun trying to get back in that little thing, Anyone have this type of problem
