Shuttle computer freezing at random times -- any ideas?

I just recently built a new computer using a Shuttle SN27P2 mini-PC kit. Most of the time, it works well, but at least once every few days, my computer just freezes up (no blue screen) and has to be powered off. At first I thought it was my TV tuner card because the first two freezes occurred while I was recording a TV show, but since then it has also locked up when I'm just browsing the web.

I suspect it could be a heat issue; things are pretty cramped inside that Shuttle case. In particular, the two sticks of memory have almost no space between them when installed in a dual-channel configuration (I'm trying out a single channel config now to see if the extra space helps), and the PCI-Express and PCI slots are very close together, so there's almost no space between my video card and my TV tuner card.

Unfortunately, system lockups can be caused by a lot of other things (like bad hardware or a bad power supply), and since the lockups only occur once every few days, it's rather difficult to troubleshoot this issue. Does anyone have any ideas that might help me fix this problem faster? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here is my system configuration:

-Shuttle SN27P2 barebones kit (motherboard + chassis)
-AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Socket AM2
-2GB DDR2-667 RAM (two 1GB sticks, manufactured by OCZ)
-Connect3D Radeon X1900GT 256MB PCI-Express video card
-PowerColor Theater 550-based PCI TV tuner card
-WD Raptor 36GB SATA primary hard drive
-Maxtor 250GB SATA secondary hard drive
-Lite-On 16x DVD burner (parallel ATA)
-Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005

And a few other notes:

-I'm not overclocking
-I'm using the automatic memory timing settings in the BIOS
-I have the system fans cranked all the way up
-I have the latest drivers installed for my motherboard, video card, and TV tuner
-I don't have any pirated/hacked software installed (everything is legit including the OS)
-Virus and spyware scans turn up nothing
