I've been pricing some Shuttle built XPCs (complete with cpu/vid/drives) and they seem to include a healthy markup on components. Anyone have experience with them?
I'm replacing a G5 that was stolen, so I'm familiar with the rig itself. I finished out the last one, but this time it may be easier from the insurance standpoint to just get them to build it out to specs.
Other option I have is a comparable laptop. I'm way behind the current trends (maybe 1-2 years there) in those though, so any update would be appreciated.
Oh, I'd be pairing the G5 with a Dell widescreen LCD if I went that route.
