shuttle audio problem? pleease help!

i just got a shuttle ss51 from a friend and im having trouble getting the audio working.. enable the onboard in the bios, picks it up when windows starts... gave it drivers off the shuttle website, (that said all OS) everything looks fine but theres no audio.. im running MCE 2005..

but the weird thing is i installed my audigy2 zs gamer and i didnt get any audio there either...

creative doesnt have drivers specifically for mce... just a plugin, which i had installed...

im just kind of stumped... not sure what to do.. anyone have any ideas?

BUMP>>>

nothing works, reinstalled mce, nothin. reinstalled xp pro, nothin, updated drivers for each of the sound cards and onboard, nothin. EVERYTHING AS IS IT SHOULD BE but no sound comes out. tried 3 different sets of speakers/headphones, each of which i tested on my laptop seconds prior.

my other forum cant figure it out...
